Bahamas Golf
The Caribbean beckons golfers like a lazy Sunday afternoon. Golf courses are all over the Abacos
islands, but ours is truly the best. Magnificently manicured, our ocean-view, 18-hole championship
golf course designed by Dick Wilson was voted “the #1 Golf Course in the Bahamas” by Golf
Digest. The island terrain confronts duffers and golf pros alike. Come see for yourself how
good Bahamas Golf can be. Just make sure your golf ball doesn’t end up in the ocean!
Bahamas Fishing
If golf isn’t your game, maybe fishing is. Come deep-sea fishing with us and discover
big-game monsters like tarpon, wahoo, sailfish, and blue marlin, all yours to tussle with. (Nowadays,
Caribbean fishing is often catch-and-release.) You’ll also spot sharks and manta rays swimming
through our aquamarine Bahama waters. Even if all you catch is the sight of a sleek silver barracuda
jumping a wave, the memories you reel in will last forever.
Treasure Cay’s world-class 150 slip marina has rental and charter boats for fishing, boating
and sightseeing to nearby cays, as well as for snorkeling and diving.
The deep channels and shallow shoals surrounding the Abaco islands attract an enormous wealth
of marine mammals, from the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin to the rarely seen dense-beaked whale.
Through our crystal clear Bahamian sea, you’ll also spot a plethora of sharks, manta rays,
and giant orange starfish.
The Caribbean is the world’s most popular destination for snorkeling and scuba diving,
and no wonder — our water hovers around 80 degrees, the visibility is crystalline, and our
spectacular coral reefs go on for miles, all rich with vibrant tropical fish. You’ll be
awestruck exploring our underwater caverns and coral reef, spying on a whole other world untouched
by this one: the private lives of fish. Watch as metallic blue angel fish shoot off together in
privately arranged formation, rainbow-colored parrot fish go searching for lunch, and fat orange
starfish stretch out on bright violet coral. You’ll be amazed at how many brilliant colors
light up this underwater world, and you may not want to come up again.
